Papa John’s Pizza

I am the person who always wants to try the new pizza place…

Specially when I’m really hungry because we’ve been fitting some clothes {for our Cebu trip on friday} and there was a long line at the cashier. I guess it’s because it’s nearly Christmas and many are doing their Christmas shopping on a sunday. I wished I had my own Honeywell Barcode Scanner then and I could scan each and everyone’s item in advance so the line would move quickly. But I didn’t so we just waited it out.

Anyway, the new pizza place I’m talking about is Papa John’s Pizza. It has recently opened a branch at the mall I frequent, and there we went to have lunch.

Super Papa’s {P340}

We had the smallest size of Super Papa’s. It is 9″ in diameter versus Other’s 10″ and is made of  pepperoni, italian sausage, ham, mushroom, onion,peppers and black olives. What’s unique about it is that they serve it with cheese sauce and pickled jalapeño peppers on the side.

I didn’t know pickled jalapeño would go well with pizza!

Cream of Mushroom {P49}

Classic cream of mushroom with croutons and bits of mushroom.

Chicken Platter {P299}

Ykaie always wants chicken. The chicken platter consists of 3 pieces of chicken wings, 3 pieces of chicken strips and plain or spicy potato wedges. They were out of potato wedges and the staff politely asked me if they can serve it with waffle fries instead. Ykaie ate all the waffle fries and two of the chicken wings. The chicken strips are regular breaded chicken bread, nothing special.

Toffee Sansrival {P149}

Instead of the usual Sansrival with buttercream, theirs had toffee/dulce de leche. Both sis and I loved it.

I want to try the other pizza flavors of Papa John’s and their pasta.
