Lemon and Mint Water

Lemon and Mint Water

Lemon and Mint WaterOne thing that I like about myself is that I could stop drinking juice and soda whenever I want to.

Since one of my mid-year resolution is to drink more water, I’d like to do a series of naturally-flavored water or infused water here at my kitchen.

These are quick, easy and healthy alternative to juice or soda. It has no sugar, artificial color, artificial flavors and CO2 and the flavor combination that you can make out of the different fruits and herbs are endless, making it more exciting. Forget your boring water and let me give you an idea on the different flavors you can make.

Have you been outside this afternoon? It is HOT out there! You wouldn’t think that its already the rainy season. Can you imagine drinking a tall glass of this cold Lemon & Mint Water? I can..I’m actually drinking this all day. This is so refreshing and since it has subtle hints of flavors it’ll be like having a fix of your favorite juice…only healthier.

If you’re the type of person who doesn’t drink lots of water, this will definitely help you drink more. Health is the new trend. This is one smart way to keep up with the trend.

I think you’re beginning to like the idea…

Lemon and Mint Water

So why did I choose Lemon and Mint to kick start this series of wonderfully infused water?

Well, I’ve read somewhere that one of the major benefits in drinking lemon water is that it aids in weight loss {which I need at this time,LOL} and gives the body natural electrolytes. It is also a great source of Vitamin C and works wonders for your skin. While mint gives the lemon-y flavor a boost and lends a cooler and sweeter flavor to the water.

If lemon is not available, you can also use lime or calamansi/calamondin.
