It’s very hard to stay focused and disciplined when you’re trying to lose weight and everyone in the family isn’t. Last week, during the surge of the typhoon, there was no cable and internet for how many days. It was cold and an absolute “bed weather”. Because we can’t watch tv and cable nor surf the internet, what we did was, we holed up in our bedroom and had a scary movie marathon.
Of course, there were movie food like popcorn, chips, and chocolates. I tried to resist but resistance is futile…everybody was having fun, I had to give in.
Plus my family was cooking rainy day comfort food during lunch and dinner. There were extra rice and another cup or extra rice… Look at that plate, wouldn’t you have a lot of “extra rice” too?
Total diet sabotage! Oh, and there was no exercise too. Pillows and comforters became my bestfriends…
This week, I promise to get back on track. I’ve been reading a lot on the Clium websites for tips on how to live healthier and lose weight in the process.
