Dinner at Racks

The last time I ate at racks was back in 2009. Since sis and I doesn’t really have anywhere in mind to have dinner at and the kids wanted their usual fried chicken, we went in at the first restaurant we saw.

These are hungry kids…believe me…

Minestrone Soup{₱90}

Racks’ version of Minestrone is quite chunky. It’s filled with white beans, carrots, potatoes, bacon and parmigiano. I’m surprised it also has a few cabbage leaves.

Caesar Salad with Blackened Chicken Strips {₱295}

This is their house caesar salad topped with a few pieces of Cajun rubbed blackened chicken strips. I find the chicken overcooked, causing it to be a bit dry.

Beef Ribs and Hickory Smoked Chicken {₱450}

Since we are cutting back on everything, I told sis that we should just order this beef/chicken combo and then we’ll share. It came with two side dishes of your choice, I chose Potato Salad and Coleslaw.

It’s still the same fall-off-the-bone smokey ribs and it brought me a lot of comfort because I’m already familiar to it.

2-piece Fried Chicken {₱200}

This came with a side dish of gravy fries… enough for the three kids to share!
