Gab-Gab’s Birthday in Bato Springs

Last Sunday, we celebrated my niece, Gab-Gab’s 3rd birthday in Bato Springs in San Pablo, Laguna. She has this really cute mermaid outfit that is so right for the venue and the occasion.

Let me make this post short and sweet…. I haven’t been feeling well that day because I didn’t have any sleep the night before. I wasn’t even in the mood to take photos that I only had limited shots of food. I also didn’t even go swimming because the water is too cold for my mood. And I just found out I left my planner in my brother’s briefcase, one of those mens leather briefcases they use when going to work.

What can you say about our Samalamig Lemonade?

There were only a few dishes but there was a lot to go around because we were composed of mostly kids. I started with the Chopped Spam and Ham Sandwich…the minutes we arrived.

Then we started grilling some pork belly….some of which are salted and some, marinated in barbecue sauce…..

Can you smell the smoke from here?

The spaghetti sauce and the stuffed milkfish were heated by charcoal….

I felt very close to nature while we were there. I just wish I’m in a better mood.

The kids were very excited to go swimming..

Will tell you more about the resort and will let you see more photos.

  1. I miss going out with family in a  natural pool like this. The atmosphere is so greeny and cold.
When it comes to grilled pork, I prefer the salted one than marinated with barbeque sauce.
