The Best Me this 2013 through The ‘+’ Project by PHILIPS

At the beginning of the year, I told myself  {and everyone for that matter} that I’m not gonna make any New Year’s Resolution and that I’m just gonna go with each and everyday’s adventure. Apparently, I couldn’t survive without a list of what I want to change this year. 2013 is going to be the year for The Best Me… and the best you….

That is why I’m so glad I found out about The ‘+’ Project by Philips. It was created because Philips also believe people should be healthy, live well and enjoy life.

The ‘+’ Project by Philips aims to help build sustainable and livable living and working environments, promote healthy eating habits, active aging and personal- and childcare and establishing affordable and accessible healthcare systems and effective ways to dealing with chronic diseases. It underlines Philip’s commitment to deliver meaningful innovation that improves the quality of people’s lives in Asia Pacific.

I just entered my pledge towards a healthier life today:

This year, my goal is a healthier lifestyle: adding more fruit and veggies, exercise at least 30 minutes per day and less coffee intake.

and this will keep on reminding me that I’m working towards a goal this year. Less fat, less sugar, more fruits and more vegetables.

Philips Air Fryer would certainly help me cut back in oil because Rapid Air technology allows it to fry food without the oil. This is one of the kitchen gadgets I want to see in my kitchen this year.

Juicing is also one of the things that are “in” this year. Everybody’s into juicing. But let’s cut the hype about those expensive commercial juices. Let’s not focus on the bottle but the juice, because that’s where the nutrients come from. Philips Avance Juicer would let me juice fruits and vegetables in the comfort of my own home in a less expensive way. Juicing would absolutely let me add more vegetables and fruits in my daily life.

Through The ‘+’ Project, Philips is working with us. They deliver meaningful innovation that make a real difference in helping people live healthier, happier and more fulfilling lives.

What’s nice about The ‘+’ Project is that by just entering your pledge and sharing this with your family and friends, you can have a chance to win Philips products worth almost PhP 100,000. And there are daily prizes too!

  1. I would love the air fryer and the juicer 🙂 I am trying to be more healthy this year. not sure about the less sugar though 🙂 but I do walk on my treadmill for an least an hour a day..

  2. i guess new year’s resolutions are rather inevitable + i see nothing wrong in making some every year, even when i only get to follow through with one. i made a list of my own for this year, too, + having a healthier lifestyle is a the top! so here’s to our aim to live a healthier life! 🙂

this is really quite an interesting contest to join + quite timely, too. hopefully i might be able to find the time to join.

  3. I would love to have that Phhilips Air Fryer, too! That will surely help me prepare healthier meals for my family.

  4. This one is nice to have in the house. We have one similar but we rarely use it. I guess hubby did not like it…This is also cool….

  5.  I had this bookmarked in case I will have the time to join later. That juicer is a tease. I think I would need one for the same purpose – 20 pounds or more to shred and hopefully it won’t take me that much time.

  6. I remember my older sister buying a juicer when my first nephew was born; it’s her way for them to start eating and drinking healthy. But I think her husband had a field day with the juicer because he made use of it any chance he gets.
