And my smoothie addiction continues…this morning, I had Blueberry Pineapple Smoothie.

Just in case you are wondering, I bought blueberries that are already frozen. It’s much cheaper than buying fresh ones. Blueberries are very rich in antioxidants, Potassium, Manganese, and immune boosting Vitamin C. Plus, it tastes delicious too. I will never think about combining it with Pineapple, except I still have frozen pineapple chunks in the freezer.

I’m so glad it turned out to be a great combination.

I also added some Chia seeds for fiber, calcium, and omega 3 boost.

This is the last time I’ll be adding the chia seeds during blending, though. I discovered that some of the chia seeds goes in the nooks and crannies of the blender pitcher. It’s really best if you add it after blending .

Anyway, I love the flavor combination of this smoothie. I love how naturally tart and sweet the pineapples and blueberries are. I also love how creamy the nonfat milk made this smoothie without that overly creamy taste.

Ingredients are simple, taste is superb.
