Chocolate Banana Inipit Trifle

Lemon Square Inipit is one of Ykaie’s favorite school baon and afternoon snack. That is why this is one of those must-buys whenever we are at the grocery. She loves how soft, yummy, and fluffy the cakes are and she loves how creamy the spread is in the middle.

But did you know that there are other ways to eat Inipit? Yup, you heard me, I’m sure you’ve already seen the photo above. Yes, that trifle is made with Chocolate Inipit! There really is #NoLimitwithInipit because you can actually do a lot of yummy desserts using this fun and exciting cake.

Lemon Square Inipit

What is Inipit, anyway?  Here’s a little product info.

Well, the term Inipit literally means “pressed”. According to Filipino history, Inipit is simply a flat pastry made of flour, milk, lard, and some sugar.

It originated in Malolos, Bulacan with Euro Bake. In 1996, the owners were inspired to make their own and eventually commercialized the product around 2003. Lemon Square blew up the idea and put the product in the map. It became one of the hottest products in both the company and in the market.

Lemon Square Inipit is very unique. The product is very light but satisfying. It comes in six unique flavors (Custard, Ube Pastillas, Pandan, Queso, Chocolate, and Lemon) and all are individually wrapped. The two layers of sponge cake are soft and delicious while the filling is rich and creamy. It is made only with the freshest ingredients, every bite of Inipit guarantees always real goodness. Each product is 22g.

The dessert I made today with Ykaie’s favorite Inipit flavor is very easy to do. It is one of those desserts she can actually do herself. This is why ang Sarap maging kid with Inipit, because there’s No Limit with what you can do with it as long as you have creativity and imagination.

The ingredients that we need for the trifle are:

  • Lemon Square Inipit Chocolate
  • Vanilla Pudding (you can buy ready-made or make one yourself)
  • Banana slices
  • You may choose to add Nutella or chocolate sauce

The first step is to cut the Chocolate Inipit into small cubes.

Next layer them in a glass alternately until you get to the brim. It’s Chocolate Inipit cubes-Vanilla Pudding-Banana slices layers.

When you get to the brim with the last vanilla pudding layer, garnish with Chocolate Inipit crumbs and Banana Slices. Chill before serving.

I’m sure everyone who will try this will be so impressed. Try this and make it with your child at home, it will be a great bonding activity. I’m sure you will have lots of fun trying out new desserts too!
