Sumo Sam and Mister Kabab

Sumo Sam

Sumo Sam

Twinkle was still two months old when we dined at Sumo Sam in SM The Block. So many things I wanted to tell you but quite honestly I couldn’t keep up! I am turning in a new leaf, though and one of my New Year’s Resolution this 2016 is to blog more often. I’m starting by cleaning up all the backlogs in my hard drive.

The reason I wanted to eat here at the time was that I fell in love with the Dynamite Roll when I tasted it for the first time during the Cheesecake Festival.

SM North EDSA is a mall we frequent but we never really noticed Sumo Sam before. The dynamite roll craving just got so intense (I’m actually craving it now as I write this post) that I asked everyone if we can have lunch there.

Funny thing. I changed my mind when I got there and ordered the Crunchy Tuna Roll (₱268) instead which was just as good!

I also had the Chashu Ramen (₱358) which turned out to be big enough for two.

That’s why peanutbutter regretted ordering the Tempura Udon (₱358). We could’ve just shared my bowl of ramen.

Here we are enjoying our soup and peanutbutter getting a piece from the plate of that fried squid heads (?).

Ykaie ordered the Japanese Carbonara which is like regular carbonara only with two pieces of prawn tempura and shredded nori on top.

Ykaie is quite surprised! She loves prawn tempura.

Twinkle was just the little angel and was behaved that day….

Even though sis made her wear Hello Kitty from head to toe… LOL!

Mister Kabab

It was a bit rainy that night but dinner found us at Mister Kabab in Quezon ave. This is where we go when we have shawarma and kabab cravings.

We had Keema with Eggplant, Shawarma Plate, and Beef Chelo Kabab.

Then we had coffee, baklava, and cake afterwards.

Last night’s dinner was also at Mister Kabab. The orders were the same except for the Flafel and the Lentil Soup.
