I’ve packed so many lunchboxes over the years that sometimes, I run out of ideas. There are days when I stare at the bread and think, “Sandwich na naman?” 😅
That’s when I discovered the beauty of wraps — the underrated, roll-up version of a complete meal. They’re easy to assemble, mess-free, and you can fill them with almost anything. Bonus: kids love holding them like mini burritos!
Here are my go-to creative wrap ideas that work for both moms and kids — whether you’re packing for school, office, or a quick road trip.
1. Chicken Tocino Wrap
All the silog goodness — to-go! Layer chicken tocino, scrambled eggs, and garlic rice inside a tortilla. Roll it tight and you’ve got breakfast and lunch in one.
2. Tuna Pesto Wrap
Mix canned tuna with pesto, add lettuce and cucumber for crunch. Light, fresh, and full of flavor — perfect for warm days.
3. BBQ Tofu Wrap
This one’s my favorite meatless option. Coat fried tofu cubes in barbecue sauce, then wrap with coleslaw and mayo. It’s saucy, tangy, and satisfying.
4. Crispy Fish Wrap
Fried fish fillet, lettuce, and garlic yogurt sauce — a wholesome combo that feels restaurant-level. Great for baon or quick dinners.
5. Adobo Rice Wrap
Got leftover adobo? Shred the meat, add rice and cucumber slices, wrap it all up — instant comfort food on the go!
6. Ham and Cheese Veggie Wrap
Classic ham and cheese made healthier with grated carrots, lettuce, and honey mustard. A favorite for both Ykaie and Twinkle.
💡 Mommy Tip: You can prep these the night before — just wrap them in foil or parchment, refrigerate, and toast in the morning. Add fruit cups or boiled corn on the side for a complete lunchbox meal.
Because sometimes, the best meals aren’t complicated — they’re just made with love and a little creativity. ❤️
