Pinaupong Manok (Sitting Chicken)
  • 5 tbsp Rock Salt
  • 1 whole Chicken
for the dipping sauce:
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • juice of 3 calamansi
  1. Rub the skin of the chicken with rock salt.
  2. Put whatever rock salt is left at the bottom of the pot.
  3. Put chicken inside the pot.
  4. Cook in a very slow fire for around 45 minutes.
  5. Serve with the mixture of soy sauce and calamansi as dipping sauce.
