Grilled Pork Chops with Lime-Cilantro Sauce

Today is September 1st. Here in the Philippines, when months starts ending in BER, it marks the start of the Christmas season. You’ll be hearing Christmas songs everywhere you go….you can practically smell Christmas anywhere.

But before Christmas, there’s Halloween. I’ve gathered some Halloween recipes for next month and I can’t wait to make them. I hope I lose all those unwanted pounds so I can eat all those Halloween goodies I’ll be making.

Ingredients:
for the porkchops:
4 pcs porkchops {fat removed}
salt and pepper

for the sauce:
¼ cup fresh lime juice
4 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried pepper flakes
1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
salt to taste

Directions:

  • Whisk together lime juice, olive oil, salt, red pepper flakes, and cilantro.
  • Set aside
  • Sprinkle both sides of porkchops with salt and pepper.
  • Charcoal or pan-grill to your preference.I pan-grilled it.
  • Drizzle sauce over porkchops before serving and serve remainder on the side.
