Pork Belly Sinigang (Sinigang na Liempo)
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 4 cloves garlic. chopped finely
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 large tomato, quartered
- 650g pork belly, cut into pieces
- 8 cups water
- 1 pork cube
- 1 large gabi, cut into pieces
- 1 radish, peeled and sliced
- 15 pieces okra, cut into two‘s
- kangkong leaves
- 1 large sinigang mix
- patis
- Heat oil in a pot and sauté garlic, tomato, and onion until fragrant. Add the pork belly pieces and cook until brown.
- Add the pork cube. Bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
- Add the sinigang mix and stir to dissolve. Add the gabi and simmer for 10 more minutes.
- Add the radish boil for 3 minutes.
- Add the okra and cook for 3 minutes.
- Add the kangkong and Season with patis.
- Cover and turn off the heat. Let it stay covered for 5 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving bowl.
- Serve with warm rice and a dipping sauce of patis with siling labuyo.
