Garlic Butter Bangus
- 1 whole bangus, boneless, cut into 8
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 bulb of garlic, chopped finely
- 1 cup sprite
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- juice of half a lemon
- lemon slices
- Pat dry the bangus with a paper towle and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat 1/4 butter and 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan and fry each bangus piece until brown. remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the remaining 1/4 butter and garlic. Cook until fragrant and a little brown.
- Add the sprite, oyster sauce, and lemon juice. Stir and simmer for 30 seconds.
- Add the bangus and simmer for about 2 minutes or until sauce ahs thickened.
- Garnish with lemon slices before serving.
- Enjoy with rice!
