This is just one of the Pomegranates that came from my aunt’s tree in Palawan.Sent here to Manila via a relative.I’ve heard that Pomegranates don’t thrive in humid climates so I was amazed that she was able to grow one. And was even more amazed when  it bear fruit. Mom tried to plant Pomegranates in our backyard but it died after being a small tree for a while.

I guess our relative couldn’t tell the ripe ones from the unripe ones because some of the fruit were a little on the bitter side and not even pink.
