Pinaputok na Tiyan ng Bangus


  • 3 pieces boneless milkfish belly
  • 1 tomato,chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp canola oil
  • banana leaves


  1. Fry minced garlic in oil until golden brown and set aside.
  2. Season milkfish belly with salt and pepper.
  3. Put chopped onions and tomato on top and wrap in banana leaves one by one.
  4. Bake in the oven at 250º for 30 minutes or until fish is cooked.
  5. Garnish with fried garlic on top before serving
  6. Serve with soy-calamansi dipping sauce.
