Black Velvet Pancake, a Very Halloween Breakfast…BOO!!

Ingredients

Scale
  • Your favorite pancake recipe OR Pancake mix
  • 4 drops black gel food coloring
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips {I used Goya Easy Melt, it tastes delicious!}
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Canola Oil

Instructions

  1. Mix Maya Kitchen Pancake Mix according to package directions.
  2. Add black gel food coloring.
  3. Cook pancake as you normally would, heat a non-stick pan and grease slightly with butter.
  4. Scoop about ¼ cup batter onto the hot pan.
  5. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges look dry.
  6. Turn over and remove from pan when cooked.
  7. Put white chocolate chips and canola oil in a microwaveable cup.
  8. microwave for about 10 seconds or until white chocolate has melted.
  9. Using the melted white chocolate chips, draw creepy Halloween characters such as spiders and ghost. No need for maple syrup anymore because white chocolate is already sweet.
