
Mother’s Day always feels like such a heartwarming celebration, but this year? This year felt extra special.
Why? Because I was treated to the sweetest surprise brunch ever—prepared by none other than my two girls, Twinkle and Ykaie! 🥹💖
They totally planned it behind my back (with a little help from daddy, I suspect), and when I came down that morning, the table was set, the kitchen smelled amazing, and the proud smiles on their faces? Priceless.
The star of their delicious brunch spread? Delicato Sausages, of course! You guys know how much we love them at home, and they really brought comfort and flavor to every bite.
Twinkle and Ykaie chose two of our current favorite variants: Truffle Cheese and Smoked Bratwurst—and oh my goodness, ang rich ng lasa! 😋
The Truffle Cheese sausage was something else. Super indulgent, infused with real black truffle oil and oozing with cheddar cheese when you slice into it. It’s creamy, savory, and feels like such a luxurious treat—even if you’re just in your pajamas on a lazy Sunday morning. Instant favorite!
The Smoked Bratwurst was just as good—smoky, juicy, and so meaty! Actually, that’s one of the things I love most about Delicato: their sausages are firm, flavorful, and made with premium quality meat. You can really taste the difference. No fillers, no weird aftertaste—just pure, savory goodness in every bite.
They even added a few slices from the Classic Mix (Smoked, Cheddar, and Mixed Herbs & Spices), which gave the brunch that extra variety. It was such a nice touch—different flavors in one plate, perfect for sharing and tikim-tikim with the whole fam.

It wasn’t just about the food though—it was the thought and effort behind it. Seeing my girls excited to cook, plate the food nicely, and even serve it to me with a note… cue happy tears.
Sarap na, bonding pa! It’s moments like these that make being a mom so fulfilling. These little surprises remind me that love really is in the small things—like sausage-filled plates, truffle cheese, and tight hugs from the little people who call you “mom.”

PrintSausage and Egg Croissant with Jam

Ingredients
- 2 croisssant (fresh or toasted)
- 2 Delicato sausages
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp butter or oil
- 2 tbsp your favorite jam
Instructions
- Cook the Sausages: Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the sausages until browned and cooked through. remove from pan and set aside.
- Cook the Eggs: In the same pan, add butter or oil and cook eggs to your liking
- Toast The Croisssants: Toast the croissants lightly in the oven.
- Assemble the Sandwich: Once the croissants are toasted, slice them in half. Spread a layer of jam on the bottom half of each.
- Add the Sausage and Eggs: Place the sausage on top of jam, then topp with eggs.
- Serve: Close the croissant and serve immediately. You can add a slice of fruit or a light salad to complete the meal.
