You know those days when youāre just craving something specific? Like, you can already taste it in your head? That was usātotally daydreaming about the buttery breadsticks, creamy pastas, and that never-ending soup and salad combo at Olive Garden. But since SM MOA was just a bit out of the way (and letās be real, Manila traffic doesnāt play nice), we had to rethink our plan.
We needed to do our grocery run at Landmark anyway, so we figured, why not just have dinner somewhere nearby after shopping? Thatās how we ended up at Fish & Co., and honestlyāit turned out to be a pretty good decision.
We left home around 3PM. First stop? Cinnabon, because grocery shopping is always better with coffee and something sweet. We grabbed coffee and a couple of Minibons (yes, they were warm and gooey and totally worth it) before strolling through the mall and finally getting down to business at the grocery.

By the time we finished shopping and walking around, it was already 6PM and our tummies were starting to growl again. We made our way to Fish & Co., got a table in the middle of the restaurant, and settled in. One small downside though: we couldnāt take a proper family photo since we were seated in the middle table. So we ended up with two separate snapsāone of me and Twinkle, and another of Daddydoodledoo and Ykaie. Still cute, but not quite the same!

Now letās talk food ?ļø
Twinkle, who was still surprisingly full from her two Minibons (those things are tiny but mighty!), decided to just have Fried Calamari (ā±495). It came crispy and golden, coated in spiced flour. She enjoyed picking at it while chatting with us and sipping water. Sheās in that āI just want my own plate even if I donāt finish itā phaseāif youāre a mom, you know what I mean!

We also got a Caesar Salad (ā±325) to share. It was a classic oneācrunchy Romaine lettuce, creamy caesar dressing, croutons, parmesan, and a marinated egg on top. Light, fresh, and perfect to balance out all the fried stuff we were about to devour.

As for me, I wasnāt in the mood for anything too heavy, so I tried their All Day ā±385 Menu. I picked the Clam Chowder, a small serving of their āBest Fish and Chips in Town,ā and Iced Tea. Everything came in smaller portions but was still pretty filling. The Clam Chowder was creamy and comforting, and the fishāalthough not a huge pieceāhad that signature crispy batter that Fish & Co. is known for. For ā±385, it was a great deal and just enough to satisfy me without feeling like I overate.

Meanwhile, Ykaie and Daddy went all in with full-sized meals (no surprise there!).
Daddydoodledoo had the Best Fish and Chips in Town (ā±575). It came with a big piece of fish coated in a light, crispy batter and served with fries. Simple and satisfying. Heās always been a āstick to the classicsā kind of guy.
Ykaie, our resident cheese lover, went for the New York Fish and Chips (ā±595). This one was stuffed with parmesan cheese, which totally made her day. She said it was rich, cheesy, and deliciousāand she practically cleaned her plate!
Final Thoughts
Was it Olive Garden? Nope.
Did it satisfy us just the same? Absolutely.
Fish & Co. turned out to be a great callāespecially after a long afternoon of walking, shopping, and sweet treats. Sometimes, plans donāt go the way you imagined, but that doesnāt mean it wonāt be just as good (or even better in its own way!).
We may not have gotten that bowl of Zuppa Toscana, but we did get a warm meal, happy kids, and a night full of laughs.
