Family Lunch at Shake Shack
I’ve eaten at Shake Shack a number of times already — yet for some reason, I never got around to blogging about it. (I know, shocking! 😂) But we recently had lunch there again, and this time, I made sure to take photos and notes because, well, burgers this good deserve a post.
There were five of us — me, Daddydoodledoo, the kids (Ykaie and Twinkle), and my sister calls herself “Anney,” haha. Naturally, five hungry people means five burgers, a mountain of fries, and milkshakes to match.
What We Ordered (and Loved!)
Shack Burger – ₱315
The famous Shake Shack classic. A juicy 100% Angus beef patty, lettuce, tomato, and their signature Shack Sauce, all hugged by a soft potato bun. It’s simple but packed with flavor — the kind of burger that makes you go “Ah, this is why people line up for it.”
Shack Stack – ₱655
Now this one’s a beast! It combines the Cheeseburger and the Shroom Burger, so you get both the meaty patty and the crispy fried portobello mushroom stuffed with molten cheese. It’s indulgent, messy, and absolutely worth every bite. If you can’t decide between beef and mushroom — this is your middle ground. Quite pricey, though.
Chicken Shack – ₱310
This was my order, and it didn’t disappoint! Crispy chicken breast that’s juicy inside, topped with lettuce, pickles, and creamy buttermilk herb mayo. The coating is perfectly seasoned — not too salty, just the right crunch. It’s comfort food with class.

The Fries Situation
No Shake Shack meal is complete without their crinkle-cut fries! We shared three orders — two plain Fries (₱165 each) and one Cheese Fries (₱250). The cheese sauce was smooth and addictive, while the plain fries were perfect for dipping into leftover mayo and Shack Sauce (you know how Filipinos love to dip everything 😋).
The kids were definitely Team Cheese Fries — Ykaie even said, “Mommy, next time we should get three of these!” Which honestly sounds like a great idea.
Sweet Endings and Shakes
Ykaie and Twinkle had their usual Vanilla and Salted Caramel Shakes (₱165 each) — creamy, thick, and just the right amount of sweet. As for me, I went for an Arnold Palmer, a half-lemonade, half-iced-tea mix that’s light, refreshing, and balances out the burger grease nicely.

After our meal, we walked over to Yogorino for dessert and shared a cup of frozen yogurt topped with pistachio sauce, brownies, and strawberries — the perfect sweet finish to a very satisfying lunch.
What I love about Shake Shack is that it’s more than just burgers — it’s an experience. It’s about sitting around the table with family, laughing about who ate the last fry, and making those small, happy memories that make everyday life feel special.
Sure, the burgers are a bit pricey, but for the quality and the joy of sharing a meal that everyone actually enjoys (no picky eaters this time!), it’s absolutely worth it.
So, if you’re planning your next family burger date in Manila, make it Shake Shack. Just don’t forget to order extra fries — trust me on that. 😉
