1-Week Meal Plan Philippines (Week 2): Rainy Week Comfort Meals for the Whole Family

Scrambled Eggs with Onions and Tomato

Rainy days in the Philippines always make me crave mainit na sabaw and cozy food.
You know the kind — the aroma of sinigang, the warmth of arroz caldo, or that creamy spoonful of macaroni soup that makes the gloomy weather suddenly feel comforting.

This week was full of rain, and honestly, I loved it.
Nothing beats eating hot soup while watching raindrops race down the window.
Cooking these meals made me realize how comforting simple food can be — it doesn’t have to be fancy to make everyone smile at the table.

And yes, every time I make champorado, Twinkle still insists on sprinkling more sugar on top. 😂

Bonus Dessert Idea

Banana Graham Pudding — layer sliced bananas, crushed graham, and whipped cream for an easy no-bake treat. Chill and serve cold!

Rainy days don’t have to be dreary when you’ve got the right comfort food.
Each meal this week is a warm hug in a bowl — proof that home-cooked food really is the best kind of love language.
