We have a new neighbor in town—Thai Mango just opened a branch near our home! And of course, we had to try it. So when my sister (who calls herself Anney, don’t ask why 🤭) invited us for dinner, I immediately suggested she treat us there. Libre mo na ‘to, sis!
She was super hungry that night—like gutom na gutom talaga—so we ended up ordering quite a lot. Good thing Thai Mango is relatively affordable, and the food? Totally worth every peso.
First on the table was my ultimate favorite – Thai Bagoong Rice (₱238).
This smoky Thai shrimp paste fried rice comes with scrambled egg, shredded tart green mango, chopped tomatoes, onions, and string beans. Then it’s topped with tender slices of Thai pork belly. The proper way to enjoy this dish is to mix everything together before digging in so that every bite is a perfect blend of flavors and textures—savory, salty, tangy, and fresh. Ugh, heaven sa sarap!

Next up was the Tom Yum Goong (₱348).
This is Thai Mango’s version of the classic hot and sour soup, and it did not disappoint! It’s loaded with tender spare ribs, mushrooms, and noodles, all swimming in a flavorful broth infused with Thai herbs and aromatics. It also had a lovely sprinkle of fresh cilantro on top. The soup is perfect when you’re craving something comforting but with a kick.
We also got Spicy Squid, although it wasn’t on the menu and I forgot the exact price. Still, it was so memorable! It had the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. Plus, it was topped with cilantro which added a nice freshness to each bite. I’m crossing my fingers they add it to the regular menu.

The Pork Belly Pad Thai (₱248) was another hit. It had all the things we love in Pad Thai—chewy noodles, a rich, nutty sauce, bean sprouts, egg—plus crispy pork belly. That crunchy, flavorful pork on top really elevated the whole dish!
For Twinkle, we ordered Thai Cheese Roti (₱170)—a thin, crispy pancake with melty cheese inside. It was sweet and savory at the same time, and you know it’s good when a kid finishes it without saying a word!

Of course, no Thai meal is complete without Mango Sticky Rice (₱170).
This classic dessert came with soft, glutinous rice drizzled in creamy coconut sauce and paired with perfectly ripe, sweet mangoes. We all shared it, and it was gone in minutes!
Now let’s talk about the drinks-slash-desserts they ordered—yes, they ordered it but I got to try everything. 😂
- Anney had the Thai Cheesy Leche Flan (₱175) – a thick, creamy mango smoothie layered with whipped cream, cheese, leche flan, and homemade mango graham ice cream. Topped with mango slices. It was rich, fruity, and super sosyal sa lasa.
- Ykaie went for the Thai Mango Classic (₱155), another mango smoothie creation topped with whipped cream, mango graham ice cream, and more mango slices. Simple but oh-so-satisfying for mango lovers.
- Twinkle’s choice was the Thai Pink Milk (₱125), a limited-edition drink for Women’s Month. It’s made with cold milk and sala syrup (a sweet red syrup from palm fruit popular in Southeast Asia). It’s creamy, colorful, and a fun way to end the meal.
We had such a fun dinner at Thai Mango. The food was flavorful, servings were generous, prices were reasonable, and everything came out fast—even though the place was quite busy. We’ll definitely be back for another round of our Thai favorites (and to try the other dishes we missed!).
If you’re in the area and craving Thai food that won’t break the bank, Thai Mango is worth checking out. Bring the family, bring your appetite, and don’t forget to leave room for dessert!
