Bonding with the Breakfast Club at Brew-Kus

Breakfast Magazine is your ultimate food and lifestyle magazine. The first and only magazine that does not only celebrate food but more importantly provides a holistic experience for its readers by celebrating the people behind the continuously growing food industry. Now on it’s second issue, with Ms. Iza Calzado  gracing the cover.

It was very thoughtful of the people behind breakfast magazine to invite us for an afternoon snack at Brew-Kus last Saturday. A lovely time to get to know them as well as the owner and the chef of the restaurant.

Crisp Mushroom Ravioli {P180}

Brew-Kus is a restaurant/café/ bar that offers a laid back ambience and generous food with an affordable price.

These delicious raviolis were served just in time to join in with the conversation. You can taste the diced shiitake and the cream cheese as your teeth sink into the crispy wonton wrappers.

Grilled Veg & Mozzarella Sandwich {P250}

One of the tastiest and healthiest dishes I’ve tried, this pesto based sandwich will make you eat your vegetables ~ eggplants, zucchini and tomatoes.

The “Brew” in Brew-Kus stands for the beverage that they offer. They have  a variety of teas and coffee. I decided to try their Wintermelon Milk Tea, which  of course, did not disappoint.

Shrimply Loaded {P250}

Loaded with shrimp sautéed in garlic and asparagus, this sandwich is simply a shrimp-lover’s dream.

Wild Mushroom Pasta {P250}

My favorite among the food that were served.It’s linguine in cream based-sauce, mixed with diced shiitake and button mushroom, topped with prosciutto and drizzled with premium white truffle oil.

Chef Sheila had a short cooking demo on how to make the batter for their Beer-Battered Fish & Chips. She didn’t reveal the exact measurement of the ingredients, of course, but she let us taste how delicious and crispy it was…

Brew-Kus’ Fish & Chips

I promised Ykaie that I’d go home right after this meeting but I wasn’t able to help myself . I dropped by at the mall to check out some wood bunk bed frame for Ykaie’s mattress. I’m planning to buy one soon.
