Del Monte Red Bulalo on a Rainy Weekend

Bulalo is a viand best served during cold weathers…. very much like the ones we are having almost everyday because of the rainy season. Last weekend was cold, rainy and a bit windy– everyone felt like sipping some soup and eating something comforting. It was the perfect time to try out the Del Monte Red Bulalo. It’s your traditional Bulalo dish of beef shank and beef kenchi made richer and heartier.

Like what I said before, I am joining the Del Monte Red Movement and I am open in recreating recipes with a new ingredient that could make them more delicious and malimannam — the Del Monte Tomato Sauce.

Just look at that rich, red soup!

Everyone in the family loved the Del Monte Red Bulalo. The soup is indeed rich but it’s also tangy and hearty balancing out that creamy, fatty marrow. I am trying to limit my rice intake but I wasn’t able to say no to this..

Ykaie also loved this but her loyalty remains with the Del Monte Red Sinigang, heehee.
