4 pcs Tofu (semi-hard)
½ cup bread crumbs or all-purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste
¾ cup Teriyaki Sauce (recipe below)
1 tbsp spring onions, chopped
1 tsp sesame seeds,toasted
cooking oil for frying
- Drain Tofu to dry
- On a tray, combine flour, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Coat tofu with flour mixture
- In a pan, heat oil. Pan-fry tofu until golden brown in color. Serve hot with sauce
♥ for the teriyaki sauce, you will need:
¼ cup soy sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar
2 slices ginger
3 tbsp brandy
1 tbsp cornstarch
5 tbsp cold chicken broth
Combine ingredients and bring to a boil. Combine broth and cornstarch in a bowl. Pour into boiling mixture and whisk continuously to avoid lumpsand until it thickens.
