South Beach Diet Burger

First its pizza………now burger.

Did you notice anything? I bet you did. Yup, I’m eating what I want and still manage to stay on my diet. I hope my sister doesn’t get any cravings today. I’m planning to stuff her with “good” food…Or else, she’ll be craving cinnamon rolls and chicharong bulaklak and every other sweets she can think of.

I don’t have anything to tell you today except I’m swamped with chores! I need to find a helper soon..

Ingredients:
200g lean ground beef
1 small onion,chopped
1 tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
salt and pepper to taste
1 egg
lettuce
tomato slices
mustard
3 tbsp canola oil {for frying}

Directions:

  • Combine ground beef, chopped onion, parmesan cheese, egg, salt and pepper.
  • Mix well.Form into a patty.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan and fry each patty until golden brown.
  • Serve with mustard, lettuce and tomato slices much like a hamburger sandwich but without the bun.
