Koryo Korean Barbecue

different side dishes
My feet took me to Koryo because I was looking for a new place to eat and because I’ve heard a lot about how good their garlic potato was. Koryo is a popular restaurant in Canada but is slowly making its place in popularity here. Reason being is its affordability and the taste of their food.

I ordered the Short Ribs Barbecue with a side dish of Cucumbers and the popular Garlic Potatoes. It came with two scoops of rice. I forgot to take note of the price but it was around P180{$4.10}. I’d say the garlic potatoes was exceptional. The cucumber is marinated in vinegar and it complimented my short ribs.

Sis ordered the Beef and Chicken Barbecue Combo with a side dish of Macaroni Salad and Spicy Squid. I loved the spicy squid!
And what is life without desserts?? I wanted some snow cone but it was not available so we opted for the only dessert in the menu –Halo Snow. It’s like a Korean version of halo-halo composed of shaved ice, milk, red beans, mango cubes, pineapple tidbits and marshmallows.
For those who want only their Garlic Potato, Koryo has a small take-out booth outside the restaurant. It never runs out of people in line.
