Honey-Mustard Glazed Chicken and Bacon Bites

  • 600 chicken breast fillet or chicken thigh fillet
  • 15 thin bacon slices
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp mustard
  • juice of 2 calamansi/calamondin


  1. In a small bowl combine honey, mustard and calamondin juice. Mix well. Set aside.
  2. Cut chicken breast fillet or thighs into strips. I used chicken breast but they were a bit dry for my taste so I suggest you use chicken thighs fillets.
  3. Wrap each fillet with bacon and put them in a baking pan
  4. Brush each chicken bite with honey-mustard mixture. {photo below}
  5. Roast in the over at 200°C for 10-15 minutes
  6. Take the tray out of the oven, flip each chicken bite and brush with the leftover marinade.
  7. Put the tray back in the oven and roast for another 10-15 minutes
  8. Serve with Pesto Pasta Salad.
