Fireside By Kettle

I’ve been reading a lot about Kettle and Fireside by Kettle from so many blogs and have been drooling over the delicious food that comes up my screen everytime I scroll down. Yet, I wasn’t able to give their place a visit. I am a busy momma and the traffic going to their location will surely drive me crazy and carve away time which I very much need. Fortunately for me, when Super Coffee was launched, it was held at Fireside by Kettle.

Take a look at the dishes I was able to try… To start of our meal was the Truffled Potato Chips (₱199) which are homemade potato chips, fried to a crisp then drizzled with blue cheese sauce and sprinkled with chopped spring onions and crumbled bleu cheese. This whole plate of Potato Chips is actually enough for me as I love chips dearly. The crumbled bleu cheese was kinda bitin, though. I wonder if you could request for extra when you order this?

Next came the Grilled Chophouse Salad (₱389). Unlike the usual salad wherein you get big pieces of vegetables, the vegetables in this salad, as the name implies, are all chopped into pieces. There were the usual salad greens, zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, bell peppers, apple, and roasted chicken breast all tossed in honey lemon dressing and then topped with hardboiled egg and crumbled feta cheese.

To say I loved this salad is an understatement — I think I was the one who almost finished this plate considering I’m sharing this with two more fellow bloggers.

When I learned what was in the 50/50 Meatloaf (₱389), I got a little scared! Why?! Well, it was called 50/50 because it was made of  50% bacon and 50% ground angus beef! It was sinfully delicious! specially if you dip it in the barbecue sauce it was served with and pair it with the creamy garlic mashed potato.

Sweet,Spicy,  Salty Wings (₱249/3 pcs) is basically crispy wings that has a sweet, spicy, and salty sauce coating. It was served with a side of sweet potato hay which I wasn’t able to try.

The Buttermilk Fried Chicken Fingers (₱489) is my favorite among all the dishes that was served! The chicken fingers were tender, juicy and was well-seasoned. It was served with homestyle gravy and honey plus the most delicious cornbread doughnuts I’ve tried. I am a sucker for sweet and salty combination… this I highly recommend!

I was about to leave when the Fireside Homemade Doughnuts (₱239) were served. I sat down again and tried these babies which was really good with the chocolate sauce, salted caramel sauce, and raspberry sauce.

Next time I hope our family journey takes us to the Shangri-La Mall so we can check out what Kettle has to offer.

Fireside by Kettle is located at 3/F Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall Mandaluyong
