Lunch At Spice Cafe, City Garden Grand Hotel + Giveaway

Lunch At Spice Cafe, City Garden Grand Hotel
The Appetizer section: lots of cheese and cold cuts!

After a staycation, I usually talk about their complimentary hotel breakfast the next day because of my love for breakfasts. It’s gonna be different today because today we’re gonna talk about lunch.

The  Spice Cafe at City Garden Grand Hotel is located at the 7th floor. That’s where our room service came from when we had our staycation so I was really curious about the food that they serve. When we had an amazing breakfast, I already knew lunch would be equally, if not more, wonderful.

The restaurant boasts of a 180º view of the city. It was nice seeing Makati so peaceful on a weekend as opposed to the weekday hustle and bustle. I suggest you get a table near the tall windows to soak it all in.

I love how the tables are spaced a bit far out because then you can sit comfortably and have a nice conversation with your family. You can also move freely when you stand up to get food from the buffet table.

As for the tables, I love how they have tables ready for big groups, families of four, and couples.

They they also have the different stations where you can satisfy all your cravings like noodles station, pasta station, crepe station, shawarma station, and of course, the dessert station.

Their carving station offers tender and delicious Roast Beef that day. Fries and chips to side with the roast beef are cutely in little pots and woks.

The Pasta Station has different kinds of pasta and sauces. The chef freshly cooks one to your liking upon requests and the staff brings it to your table.

The bread station, crepe station, and the other sumptuous warm dishes of Spice Cafe.

Chicken Yakitori and Beef Curry with Lemon and Kaffir

Ginger Coconut Seabass and Pork Tonkatsu

Spice Cafe offers  a variety of savory dishes to satisfy your palate. Not on the photo is the Lasagna and the two kinds of rice which you can partner with these viands.

For the drinks, there’s a choice between Red Apple Iced Tea and Analisa, a combination of Orange Juice, Mango Juice, Pineapple Juice, and Calamansi Juice.

The dessert station boasts of different kinds of cake, fruits, and ice cream with toppings.

Fruit Selection that day: Ripe Mango, Watermelon, and Oranges.

My first plate consisted of the juicy and tasty Roast Beef, Salad, and Kani Tempura.

My second plate is a rice plate consisting of Leek Fried Rice, Chicken Yakitori, Ginger Coconut Seabass, and Beef Curry with lemon and Kaffir.

My dessert is Pineapple Upside Down cake and Fruits while Ykaie had an ice cream sundae.

She also had a cup pf hot chocolate…..

but not after making a crepe with the help of one of the chefs manning the crepe station….

Check out the Peaches and Cream Crepe the made! I had a bite and it’s super yummy!
