Olive Oil and Garlic Tuna Pasta

  • 400g Dona Elena Penne Pasta
  • 1 can tuna, I used Dona Elena
  • ⅓ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 5 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Handful chopped Italian parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • grated parmesan cheese


  1. Cook pasta according to package direction, set aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium low heat for a minute. Toss in the garlic and tomatoes and cook just until the garlic starts to brown.
  3. Add the tuna and saute for a minute.
  4. Add the pasta and about 1/4 cup of pasta water.
  5. Add the parsley and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese before serving
