Have you ever craved the satisfaction of baking your own treats, but felt intimidated by the whole process? Well, fret no more! My daughters and I recently embarked on a delightful journey at the newly opened IDIM DIY Bakery SM North EDSA. Let me tell you, it was an experience filled with flour-dusted fun and, of course, yummy treats!

IDIM DIY Bakery stands for “I Did It Myself Do- It-Yourself Bakery”. It’s a bakery studio that offers to teach you step-by-step how to create gorgeous cakes by letting you do it by yourself. All you have to do is choose what you want to bake and pay for it and they will give you two hours to bake it. They have cakes, mousse, macarons, cookies, cheesecakes, pizzas, and breads.

Twinkle and I tried this before at their Megamall branch. But with a new branch opening near us, I feel like us three should give it a try since mahilig din mag-bake si Ykaie.

Our cake of choice that day was Black Forest Cake which costs ₱1,099. There is no baking experience required. The will give you a tablet that contains the ingredients and step-by-step instruction on how to bake your cake from beginning to the end. It makes it really easy. If you still have questions, you may ask their helpful and kind staffs around.

A Perfect Bonding Experience

Our IDIM DIY Bakery escapade wasn’t just about the baking, though; it was a fantastic bonding experience. We laughed, got a little messy (frosting explosions happen!), and created a delicious treat together. It’s the perfect activity for catching up with friends, spending quality time with family, or even having a fun-filled date.

After the baking session, we were also able to make our own DIY Milk Tea. Ykaie chose Iced Coffee and Twinkle chose Wintermelon Milk Tea. What’s nice about this is that you can take a picture and they will print your picture on top of the cheese foam. Ang cute no?

Overall Verdict: Two Thumbs Up!

We highly recommend IDIM DIY Bakery to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable experience. It’s a fantastic option for birthday parties, celebrations, or simply a fun way to spend an afternoon. So grab your friends, unleash your creativity, and get ready to bake some unforgettable memories (and delicious treats).

A Sweet Ending (and a Recommendation!)

By the end of our IDIM adventure, we are all covered in a light dusting of flour and sporting sugar-coated smiles. We left with a box full of our very own Black Forest Cake, bursting with pride and the lingering sweetness of a perfect mommy-daughters date.

If you’re looking for a fun and memorable activity with your child, I highly recommend IDIM DIY Bakery. It’s the perfect blend of creativity, bonding, and of course, delicious treats! You won’t regret making these sweet memories together.
