Walnut Chocolate Chip Banana Bread that’s so easy to make and loaded with extra walnuts to make it extra special!
You know it! Banana Bread happens because there is some ignored overripe bananas lying around the house… LOL! Plus Banana Bread is a classic and is a great choice for breakfast or snack. I love it with my morning coffee and I love it with iced tea.. who doesn’t?
Another plus is how easy it is to make! Mix together the ingredients in one bowl, bake, and enjoy. It makes my house smell amazing and my kids — Purple and Twinkle — can’t always to eat whenever they smell it baking in the oven.
Today this Walnut Chocolate Chip Banana Bread contains chocolate chunks from a big slab of Van Houten Professional Semi-Sweet Dark Chocolate Compound. It what I have in my kitchen and I didn’t have chocolate chips. Of course, sayang naman kung bibili ako, so I just cut them into chunks.
Also, the recipe calls for white sugar and brown sugar but I didn’t have brown sugar. So, I just used muscovado sugar for this recipe. It turned out alright.
I’ll give this recipe another try. I’ll use chocolate chips or smaller chocolate chunks and brown sugar.
