Busy mornings call for quick, delicious, and reliable baon options that the whole family will love—and TenderBites came to the rescue this week!
Last week, friends from TenderBites sent over a box of their ready-to-cook products and let me tell you — it was such a lifesaver for me! Alam n’yo naman, mornings in our household can be super hectic. Between waking up the kids, making sure uniforms are ready, fixing my own things, and squeezing in a bit of work, thinking of what to cook for baon can sometimes feel like an Olympic sport.
That’s why I was so grateful when their Beef Tapa, Colorless Pork Tocino, and Garlic Longganisa arrived at our doorstep. These are the kind of food staples that busy moms like me can always count on. Hindi lang sila masarap, they’re also so quick to prepare. Perfect talaga when you need to whip up something filling before the school bell rings.
Of course, I had to go all out with the classics. I prepared:
- Tapsilog – Tender and flavorful beef tapa served with sinangag and a perfectly fried egg. It’s such a Pinoy comfort food na kahit si Daddydoodledoo kinilig sa sarap.
- Tosilog – Their pork tocino is “colorless,” which I love because it feels healthier, but still has that sweet-savory taste na favorite ni Twinkle. She finished her baon box with a big smile!
- Longsilog – Garlic longganisa with rice, egg and a simple salad of cucumber and tomatoes — simple, garlicky goodness na walang tapon. Ykaie loved it, and let’s be honest, walang makakatalo sa umagang may longganisa.
