Friends from Magnolia sent over a generous care package filled with Magnolia Chicken Timplados, and of course, I was so happy! Our family really loves Magnolia Chicken Timplados because they’re always flavorful, tender, and easy to cook—perfect for busy moms who still want to serve delicious homemade meals. Personally, I love them because they make my life easier, especially on hectic weekdays when I need to prepare something comforting and nutritious without spending too much time in the kitchen.

As soon as I opened the package, I knew exactly what I wanted to cook — Chicken Bola-Bola Misua with Patola. This is one of those classic Filipino soups that feels like a warm hug, especially on cold days like what we have today. It’s light but filling, simple but flavorful, and always a family favorite in our home.
Why We Love This Dish
Chicken bola-bola misua with patola is one of those dishes that hits all the right notes:
✔ soft, delicate misua noodles
✔ juicy, savory chicken meatballs
✔ sweet, refreshing patola
✔ light broth that warms you up instantly
It’s the kind of soup you make when someone at home isn’t feeling well… or when you just want something soothing and comforting. And using Magnolia Chicken Timplados Bola-Bola makes the whole process so much easier — no need to season from scratch, no need to form your own meatballs. Everything is ready to cook.

A Bowl Full of Comfort
The moment I served it, the whole family gathered around the table. Since it’s a rainy December, it’s cold and this soup felt like the perfect way to warm up the afternoon.
Twinkle loved the noodles (of course!). Ykaie enjoyed the broth. And DaddyDoodleDoo went straight for the chicken bola-bola. It’s such a simple dish, but it brings so much comfort and nostalgia — like something your lola would cook when you visited her after school.
Using Magnolia Chicken Timplados made everything faster and more convenient while still keeping the flavors very “lutong bahay.” This is definitely going into our rainy-day meal rotation.
If you’re looking for a comforting, budget-friendly, and easy weeknight meal, try this Chicken Bola-Bola Misua with Patola. It uses ingredients you probably already have at home, and the Magnolia Chicken Timplados bola-bola make it extra easy. Perfect for busy moms, cozy afternoons, and picky eaters too!
