If you’ve been hanging out with me here at The Peach Kitchen for a while, you already know that I’m a big fan of instant noodles. They’re a lifesaver when I’m too busy (or too tamad) to cook, when the kids suddenly want a midnight snack, or when I just crave something warm and comforting.
Recently, I came across Cung Đình Noodles, a Vietnamese instant noodle brand that’s slowly making waves here in the Philippines. Since I’m always curious about anything food-related, syempre I had to try it and see if it’s worth the hype.
First Impressions
The packaging looks premium — bright colors and detailed photos that already make you crave noodles. Compared to the usual instant noodles we have here, Cung Đình feels a little more “extra,” like it’s promising a full experience, not just a quick meal.

The Taste Test
I tried the Beef Flavor first, and it really gave off that rich, hearty broth I was hoping for. It had depth—lasang may pinaghirapan—like slow-cooked beef stew in instant form. Perfect for those nights when you want something filling and savory.
Next was the Chicken Flavor, which surprised me because it wasn’t your ordinary chicken noodle soup. The broth was light yet flavorful, with a herby kick that reminded me a bit of Vietnamese pho. It’s the kind of comforting noodle bowl na bagay for sick days or rainy afternoons.
Both flavors had noodles that were firm and satisfying — not the type that gets soggy in minutes. Ang sarap higupin ng sabaw habang humahaba ang chikahan!
Is it Sulit?
Price-wise, Cung Đình is a bit more expensive than your regular instant noodles (around ₱45–₱55 per pack, depending on where you buy), but honestly, I think it’s sulit for the quality and taste. Hindi siya tipid sa flavor. For busy moms like me, it’s also a good baon idea — just add boiled egg, veggies, or leftover meat, and you’ve got a filling meal that doesn’t break the bank.

The Verdict
Would I buy it again? Definitely! It’s not something I’d eat every single day (because, hello, instant noodles pa rin) but it’s a great pantry staple for those nights when you just need comfort in a bowl. For me, Cung Đình Noodles is a cross between sulit convenience and a taste of Vietnam right at home.
If you’re a noodle lover like me, give it a try—lalo na if you’re looking for something different from your usual instant pancit canton or beef mami.
