Trail Mix

Trailmix is a combination of dried fruits, grains, nuts and chocolate developed as a snack food taken along on outdoor hikes. It is considered an ideal food to be taken on hikes because it is tasty, lightweight and easy to store. It also contains energy boosting carbs and protein from the nuts.

Trailmix is not only delicious but can also be considered as a healthy snack. Plus it’s very easy to do, just gather all the ingredients and mix ’em all up. You can also choose what to put in your trail mix depending on what nuts or dried fruit you prefer.

Ingredients:

M&M’s
Almonds
Walnuts/Pecans
Cashews
Banana Chips
Raisins

Directions:

Get a big bowl and mix well. That’s it!
