Our complimentary breakfast was at Tides. Tides features a buffet of international dishes and some open interactive kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Honestly, I was overwhelmed with the choices of food. There was a lot!

Different fruits and a variety of yogurt flavors at this station plus yogurt toppings like prunes, dried apricots, mangoes, blueberries and nuts.

I wasn’t in the mood for Japanese at the time so I just took a photo of the soba and the makis and then I’m off to check out the other dishes.

Not in the photo are the Cheese and Cold Cuts Station, Congee and Noodle Station, The Filipino and American Cuisine Station, The Korean Kitchen, Cereal Station and the Waffle/Pancake/French Toast Station.

That piece of pancake was Ykaie’s second breakfast item. Her first plate has a little bit of Pancit Canton, bread and butter.

Breakfast at Tides Restaurant | www.thepeachkitchen.comMy second plate has mostly meat items in it. There’s two strips of bacon, sausage, corned beef hash and pork asado. I also had waffles with maple syrup and whipped butter.

We had a leisurely breakfast and I was able to have a really good conversation with my sister. We talked about a lot of things and I like that she can relate to everything that I said even though she’s not married {yet}.

And sometimes,  it seemed to me like she is. All she needs is one of those fabulous diamond wedding rings on her finger and a husband.
