Pineapple Sorbet

Pineapple is one of my favorite fruits. I would slice them up and dip them in salt.

They are very refreshing too! Here’s a treat to cool you up this summer.

Pineapple Sorbet

Author: The Peach Kitchen
Ingredients
  • 1 pineapple
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
Directions
  1. You can scoop out the pineapple meat from the pineapple so you can use it later as a container or you can just peel, core and dice the pineapple. Combine the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. You can leave some pineapple meat and just roughly chop it, to add later if you don’t like a smooth sorbet.
  2. If you have an ice cream maker, you can use that to freeze the sorbet. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, put the mixture in a container and freeze. You have to stir it with a fork from time to time to achieve desired texture.

Well how’s that for a truly green recipe, not extra containers to toss away and clean up is a cinch.
