Plain Fried Chicken

Fried Chicken

My father and my older brother have so much in common.

They both laugh heartily. They both love meat. They are hearty eaters. They are both chubby. And they both have receding hairlines.LOL!

Another thing that they have in common is that they both love fried chicken without breading.

I love my fried chicken breaded and with gravy dipping sauce. They like it plain and simple.

Other people needs to get  legal paternity test to be able to tell who’s father and son, we only need fried chicken..LOL!

I guess  my father and my brother loves the simple things in life…

But you know what, my peanutbutter loves his fried chicken the same way..

Ingredients:

Chicken pieces
Salt
cooking oil

Directions:

  • Season chicken with salt and let stand for 30 mins.
  • Fry in heated oil until golden brown
  • Serve with good old banana ketchup.

  2. Nothing will beat a classic like this, you can even prove it by serving it at parties.  This once is the first dish that will run out.

  3. Hey peachkins! I have actually had this type of fried chicken because a dear friend loves to make it. I do like it a lot but seriously, nothing can beat a good buttermilk breaded fried chicken! Thanks so much for sharing this on the hearth and soul hop! All the best, Alex

  4. Very interesting.  I never would have thought of such a simple way to fry chicken.  We all know those people who remove all the batter from a piece of chicken before they will eat it.  Here’s the answer!
