My 2nd Visit at Bag of Beans, Tagaytay

peanutbutter♥ and I decided to celebrate our anniversary by going to Tagaytay and having a staycation at The Lake Hotel. Because I had such a wonderful time during when I first visited bag of Beans, I thought of taking them there for dinner.

It was lunch time during my first visit, I didn’t know it would be so romantic there at night….

Cream of Broccoli {₱120}

I know Ykaie won’t be able to finish whatever she’s going to order, so I decided to order just soup and a salad. Each order of soup came with a roll and some whipped butter. Their Cream of Broccoli soup was tasty and creamy but not as delicious as….

Pumpkin Soup {₱120}

…..which is twice as creamy and tasty. Being the soup girl that I am, I could easily down two bowls of this, if you ask me.

I forgot to take note of how much the Caesar Salad is but I wouldn’t forget it’s taste. They have one of the best caesar dressings!

Pork Tocino {₱195}

Ykaie ordered her favorite pork tocino which I ate half of…. It was such a big serving for her. As usual, the pork pieces was very tender…

Grilled Porckchops ₱295

peanutbutter♥ and my FIL both ordered pork chops. My FIL preferred it with rice while peanutbutter♥ chose mashed potato as a side dish.

Grilled Blue Marlin {₱320}

MIL ordered fish. We were surprised when it was served because that piece of fish is quite large and it was thick. Well worth the ₱320- price. It was als very tasty and devoid of any unlikely fishy taste.

Blueberry Cheesecake {₱145}  & Brewed Barako Coffee {₱90}

Dessert was all I’ve been waiting for… this blueberry cheesecake paired with barako coffee made my night and made our anniversary more special.

I told myself  that I would drive all the way to Tagaytay just to buy a slice of this cheesecake once I get my driver’s license.

I love Bag of Beans not only because of this cheesecake but because of the quality of the food they serve, the homey and rustic ambience and their staff  that gives good customer service. Watch out for me, I’ll see you in a month.
