St. Dalfour Fruit Conserves and a BIG Breakfast

St. Dalfour Fruit Conserves and a BIG Breakfast

St. Dalfour Fruit Conserves and a BIG BreakfastThis is one of my favorite brand of fruit preserves {conserves?}, aside from Darbo and Bonne Maman. I’ve heard a lot about it from friends but it wasn’t available in the local supermarkets so I asked peanutbutter to bring me a few when he went home from Dubai last month.

He bought me a big jar of Raspberry and four small jars of different flavors: Wild Blueberry, Golden Peach, Imperial Pear and Black Cherry.

What I love about St. Dalfour fruit conserves is that it is 100% naturally sweet without the added sugar. According to their website, they add in a special concentrated grape juice from which the aroma and flavor was removed during jam production making it possible to be sweet without sugar.  It means you get 100% fruit….and that is always, always a good thing.

I brought this set of jams when we went to Porta Verde in Caliraya, Laguna the first week of this month. We had it in one of our BIG breakkys out there which sis and I prepared…together with sunny-side ups, crisp bacon and the softest waffles….

…and a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows, of course!

Dig in… most important meal of the day, right?

I miss breakfasts like this…
