What’s New at Wham Burger?

Wham Burger Trio
Wham Burger Cross Trax Fries
Cross Trax Fries (₱80) and guess what’s in the box? (not chicken littles)

I’ve loved the burgers at Wham Burger the first time peanutbutter and I tried it in 2008. I actually went back after two weeks because I thought my sister, cousin, and my niece should also give it a try. Since then, these burgers became a regular movie food along side popcorns and lemonades whenever we watch a movie at SM the Block. (our favorite branch, btw).

I think I’ve eaten at this branch only twice but I couldn’t count the number of times I’ve taken out different kinds of burgers. Last week, Ykaie, Cyra, and I had late lunch there. Fries has forever been part of their menu, but their Cross Trax Fries (₱80) is the best! It’s always served hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. Ykaie and Cyra devoured it like there’s no tomorrow.

Inside the small box beside the Cros Trax fries are these Pepper Poppers (₱82). It’s a milder version of the popular Jalapeno Poppers. Chopped Jalapeno peppers and gooey melted cheese are stuffed inside deep fried and crispy batter.  It wasn’t as spicy as I expected it but it was exploding with flavor. I think I’ll be ordering this on our next movie date.

Wham Burgers are made  with all-beef  pound patty that is 80% lean and 20% fat, simply seasoned with salt and black pepper to make sure you get the taste of beef.

Of course, not all of us can finish that big a burger. Even I couldn’t finish it sometimes.

Well, for those who have the same dilemma, have I got a solution for you — The Sliders Trio!

The Sliders Trio (₱250)  are the biggest sliders you’ll ever meet.  It’s a three-slider package composed of your Wham favorites : Bacon Burger, Wham Burger with Cheese, and  the classic  Wham Burger. This is perfect for sharing or if you just want to eat three kinds of burger for the price of one!

I don’t think I’ve seen the Spaghetti Fries (₱105) on the menu but this is something that you have to try if you (a) love french fries and (b) love Pinoy Spaghetti. This is crispy hot french fries topped with sweet Filipino-Style Spaghetti sauce with ground beef and sliced hotdogs and lots of grated cheese. It’s a blend of something familiar and something different.

Sodas….. to wake me up.

Now you know what you’re going to try the next time you’re eating at Wham.

  1. Ay nako, I craved bigla! Favorite ko cross trax fries nila and their chicken burger. Haven’t tried their beef burgers kasi I’m picky when it comes to that. Does it taste fresh/homemade? Ayoko kasi yung parang McDonald’s/Jollibee beef patties na hindi all beef.

  2. We do not have a Wham burger but boy I wish we did. The food looks delicious! I would love to have those fries right now 🙂

  3. Well, all that food looks absolutely scrumptious. My mouth may be starting to water for the yumminess of burger. Though I have no idea where one would find a Wham Burger.

  4. Oh my golly my tummy grumbled while reading your post. I think the Wham Burger branch here in Alabang closed already. Sayang, never got to try. 🙁
