Cocina Luna (Malabon Food Tour Part 3)

Another restaurant that we visited during the Malabon Food Tour is Cocina Luna, a pub and restaurant located along Gen. Luna St.

Cocina Luna

Chef Kat, the owner and chef of the restaurant performed a cooking demo. She showed us how to prepare on of the pub’s bestseller which is the Pulled Pork Sandwich.

Cocina Luna

Their Pulled Pork Sandwich has bacon and onion rings which gives out the crunch on each bite.

An order consists of three pieces of pulled pork sandwich and a small bucket (literally) of fries.

Another bestseller is their Tapa Flakes meal, which consist of tender pulled-beef, fried egg, an orange wedge, and housemade vinegar dipping sauce.

I liked the vibe inside the restaurant — it has a very relaxed atmosphere. I actually came back  there after two weeks with sis, ykaie, and my nieces. We were able to try some of the drinks.

I’ll be back next time with peanutbutter to try out their special alcoholic beverages. I’ve been hearing a lot of raves about it.

Cocina Luna is located at 144 Gen. Luna St., Malabon City.

  1. ok where do I sign up to join a tour, he he… I know very little of Malabon except it’s flood-prone, shame. good to know there are places like this too!

  2. The plate of rice and tapa flakes made me drool! It reminded me of my college days since that’s always our breakfast of choice at the caf. 😀

  3. Wow parang ang sarap ng sandwich nila! And the presentation of fries was cool too. I have not been in Malabon, mejo malayo kasi but at least, in time, I know where to eat!! =)
