Wee! It’s the time of the year when the red cups and Starbucks Christmas beverages are back! This year let us all enjoy two beautifully crafted returning beverages and one exciting new beverage that will surely delight each and everyone! I’m sure these will all put us in a merry and bright mood this season.
TOFFEE NUT LATTE
The rich, buttery flavor of toffee with the warmth of toffee nuts, combined with our smooth espresso and velvety steamed milk. This Toffee Nut Latte is made even more special with NEW espresso caramel whipped cream and toffee sprinkles.
Rich, bittersweet chocolate, combined with peppermint, sweet espresso and velvety steamed milk. Topped with whipped cream, mocha drizzle and peppermint-flavored candy bits.
CHRISTMAS COOKIE LATTE
Inspired by the traditions of the season, the Christmas Cookie Latte is a buttery creamy latte infused with shortbread cookie sauce, topped with whipped cream, shortbread cookie drizzle and butter cookie crumbles. Starbucks unique shortbread cookie sauce has a sweet buttery flavor and aroma.
Hot or Iced : Short – ₱ 150, Tall – ₱160, Grande- ₱175, Venti – ₱185
Blended: Tall – ₱ 170, Grande – ₱ 180, Venti– ₱ 190
I was able to try all of these drinks and I must say that Toffee Nut Latte is still my favorite among the three drinks. The Peppermnt Mocha still gives me that Christmas tingle and the Christmas Cookie Latte, well, it’s like drinking my Christmas cookie and it’s already paired with coffee!
Just like the year before, Starbucks is offering new food items but of course, there are returning favorites as well. Those that we loved last Christmas. Without further ado, here they are…
Starbucks New Christmas Food Items
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE STUFFED WITH OREO (₱65) Starbucks Chocolate Chip cookie made even yummier because it’s stuffed with oreo!
CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE CHEESECAKE (slice-₱150, whole-₱1,650) – A smooth velvety chocolate cheesecake on chocolate cookie crust and topped with silver and gold chocolate nuggets.
CHOCOLATE TORTE CAKE (slice-₱110, whole-₱950) -Four layers of chocolate cake, mousse, meringue and marbled cake with dark chocolate ganache. This is so good paired with a cup of brewed coffee.
Note: Available only in Baguio, Boracay, Bacolod, Cebu, CDO, Davao, Iloilo, Naga, Gen San, Tarlac, Subic, Dagupan and Bataan.
POT ROAST PIE (₱120) – A whole wheat flaky crust filled with chunky pieces of pot roast and vegetables.
ROASTED TURKEY AND CHICKEN WITH APPLE CRANBERRY WALNUT ON SOURDOUGH BREAD (₱170) – A crusty sourdough bread with roasted turkey and chicken and apple cranberry walnut sauce.
GRILLED PORK AND EMMENTHAL CHEESE WITH CHIMICHURRI SAUCE ON CHEESE BREAD (₱170) – A crusty cheese bread filled with grilled pork, Emmenthal cheese and chimichurri sauce.
CHICKEN CAESAR WRAP (₱165) – A tortilla filled with chicken breast fillet and bacon drizzled Caesar dressing. This is my favorite among the new Christmas offerings.
Starbucks Returning Favorites
CHOCOLATE TOFFEE NUT LOAF (slice-₱65, whole-₱595) – Moist and decadent chocolate loaf topped with chocolate and crunchy toffee. This is a favorite and I usually pair this with unsweetened black coffee. Soooo good!
PEPPERMINT BROWNIE (₱75) – Moist and chewy chocolate brownie with peppermint filling topped with chocolate ganache.
GINGERBREAD COOKIE (₱100) – A snowman gingerbread cookie decorated with sugar icing.
CHICKEN FAJITA ROLL (₱100) – A tortilla wrapper filled with mouthwatering Mexican flavored chicken breast fillet.
CHOCOLATE CREPE CAKE (slice-₱120, whole-₱ 1,100) – Seventeen layers of crepe filled with Belgian chocolate cream.
