Starbucks Relief Mug Philippines

Starbucks Relief Mug Philippines

I received these mugs a couple of weeks ago but it’s just now that I had a chance to blog about it.  These are the limited edition Starbucks Relief Mug that is the newest addition to the Collector Series City Mug. It features Manila and Cebu in a specially sculptured mug.

You might be wondering why it’s called Relief Mug. Well,  the term “relief” comes from the Latin verb ‘relevo’ which means to raise. Relief is a sculptural technique wherein the shapes carved on a surface stands out from the background.

CEBU MUG ( ₱550 | ₱625 (NAIA 1))

This mug features landmarks of the Queen City of the South – Magellan’s Cross, Fort San Pedro, Basilica del Santo Niño, Halad Museum, Lapu-Lapu Bridge, Carbon Market, and Mactan Shrine.

MANILA MUG ( ₱550 | ₱625 (NAIA 1))

Features the famous landmarks in Manila – Luneta Park, Paco Park, Philippine Post Office, Liwasang Bonifacio, National Museum, Palacio del Gobernador, Manila City Hall, Fort Santiago, and the iconic Philippine mode of transporation, the Jeepney.
