Uncle Tetsu Signature Cheese Tart and Cheese Tart Baked with Oreo

Uncle Tetsu Signature Cheese Tart and Cheese Tart Baked with Oreo

You’ve read how much I raved about Uncle Tetsu Cheesecake last year. Oh who can forget those light, fluffy, creamy cheesecake you can top with fruits, chocolates, and candies? Well, definitely not me. But this year, I have something new to rave about: the new Uncle Tetsu Signature Cheese Tart!

I think this is the Japanese counterpart of the dense American cheesecake because it is made with cream cheese, milk, sugar, and egg. The difference is that this is light. You won’t miss the richness, creaminess, and cheese-iness of the American cheesecake you love yet your tastebuds will get a whole new adventure. Uncle Tetsu Cheese Tart is resting on a flaky pie crust and can be enjoyed warm or chilled. This is 15.5cm in diameter, a big enough size to share with friends but when you’re a fan, then I suggest you buy two because one will never be enough to satisfy you.

Uncle Tetsu also has a special cheese tart that will make Oreo lovers swoon — Uncle Tetsu Cheese Tart Baked with OREO! It has a layer of Oreo under it’s creamy and cheesy filling. It’s a bit sweeter, of course — and yummier too. (Yes, I’m an Oreo fan).

Uncle Tetsu Cheesecake Tart is available for ₱275 while the Cheese Tart Baked with Oreo is available for ₱325.

There’s a mini version of the signature cheese tart which you can get for ₱49 for people who are trying to limit their sweets. You can get a  box of four for only ₱180.

Aside from the cheese tarts, I have great news for my readers living in the north area. Uncle Tetsu will be just one cartwheel away from us until August 31! They have a kiosk at SM The Block because of the Cheesecake Fair happening from August 3 -31,2015.

Here’s a closer look at their booth. So sad that it’s only temporary!

Uncle Tetsu’s branches are located at SM Megamall, SM MOA, SM City Fairview, The Podium, and Alabang Town Center.

Hmmmm… I haven’t tried the cake roll and the pastry puff yet…

A box of Uncle Tetsu Cheesecake and Cheese Tarts would just be the perfect gift to loved ones and friends, don’t you think so?

I heard through the grapevine that Uncle Tetsu will  have more new and exciting products. I wonder what they are. Well, we should just continue to watch out. For the mean time, let’s enjoy the cheesecake and the cheese tarts.

You’ll probably find me in the corner enjoying one right now.
