Urbiztondo Grill House, La Union

Remember our Ilocos Road Trip last year? I finally finished blogging about our whole trip (links at the bottom) this month. Well, I had to because we are brewing our Summer trip and I don’t wanna be caught with major backlogs.

Anyway, our last stop on that trip was La Roca Villa Resort in La Union. Coming from Pagudpos was a long drive so we figured we had to make an overnight stop somewhere. When we checked out of La Roca Villa – that’s when we had lunch  here at Urbiztondo Grill House.

Ampalaya Con Carne and Ensaladang Talong

Urbiztondo Grill House is a recommended place here in La Union if you want affordable lutong bahay meals. It is located along the highway and nearby almost all the hotels and resorts in the area. Here we had Grilled Tuna Panga, Grilled Blue Marlin, Sizzling Squid, Ampalaya Con Carne, Ensaladang Talong to pair with the grilled fish, and Halo-Halo for dessert.

We loved everything except for the Ampalaya Con Carne which is  a little bland.
