Summer is here and so are the new Starbucks Frappuccinos and other offerings launched through the Starbucks Summer Launch 2017 last Saturday at SM Mall of Asia. I’m sure it will make your Summer more exciting because one of our favorite Frappuccino is making a comeback this year.
The ROASTED MARSHMALLOW S’MORES FRAPPUCCINO BLENDED BEVERAGE (Tall – ₱ 175| Grande ₱ 190|Venti– ₱ 205) is Ykaie’s favorite! It’s a vanilla-flavored Frappuccino layered with smooth marshmallow whipped cream, indulgent chocolate sauce, and graham crumble, then finished with even more whipped cream and more graham crumble on top. Truly a camper’s dream.
A new one was also introduced: POP’ZEL COFFEE FRAPPUCCINO BLENDED BEVERAGE (Tall – ₱ 175| Grande ₱ 190|Venti– ₱ 205). This fun treat combines some of the most favorite snacks from childhood in a new and exciting way. The classic Coffee Frappuccino is blended with delicious popcorn and pretzel syrup and topped with real caramel popcorn and salted pretzel over whipped cream.
New Food Items
There are also new food items that will surely keep your Summer more exciting as you pair them up with your favorite coffee.
CARAMEL ALMOND CRUNCH CAKE (₱160) is an indulgence! Imagine layers of moist cake, light caramel mousse, almond crunch, and buttery flaky crust. Glazed with caramel fudge, drizzled with dark and white chocolate and sprinkled with almond on the sides. I had to remind myself I am on a low-sugar diet to keep myself from finishing this one.
CAMEMBERT AND MASCARPONE CHEESECAKE (₱165) – Buttery crust and silky Camembert and Mascarpone cheesecake. (For stores outside Metro Manila)
CAMEMBERT AND MASCARPONE BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE (₱165)
Buttery crust and silky Camembert and Mascarpone cheesecake topped with blueberry compote. Oh cheesecake is love! (Available in Metro Manila stores only)
BANANA CHOCOLATE DANISH (₱95) is a buttery and flaky Danish filled with decadent chocolate and sliced banana topped with slivers of almond. Truly one of the best danishes I’ve tried.
ROAST BEEF DELI ON CIABATTA BREAD (₱165) – Slow-roasted beef, sliced button mushrooms, sweet and tangy sliced pickles and horseradish spread are layered on toasted rosemary ciabatta bread.
65% DARK CHOCOLATE (₱70) – This single-origin chocolate has an origin of 65% of cocoa solids and has a distinct fruity flavor profile.

Starbucks Summer Launch 2017
The Starbucks Summer Launch 2017 was super fun because I was able to bring my family with me. We were given a “passport” we have to complete by going through all the booths and having them stamped. Ykaie loves these kinds of activities so off she went to all the booths. First up was this POP’ZEL COFFEE FRAPPUCCINO booth, where she got to try the new Frappuccino flavor.

Then I had to take a photo of them showing off a card that has their favorite Frappuccino flavor. Ykaie loves Dark Mocha Frappuccino….Twinkle just loves peek-a-boo and keeps on popping right up and down.

Yay! we got a prize for completing the passport and going through all the booths!
