Quesadillas will always have a special place in my foodie heart. That crispy tortilla filled with ooey-gooey melted cheese is just pure comfort food! It’s something I can enjoy any time of the day — for merienda, lunch, or even a light dinner.

So when my friends from A7 BBQ sent me some of their delicious smoked ham, I immediately knew what I wanted to do — turn them into Ham and Cheese Quesadillas!

And oh boy, I was right! The combination of the smoky, juicy ham and the melty cheese in between crispy toasted tortillas was absolute perfection. Each bite was savory, cheesy, and super satisfying — the kind of merienda that disappears from the plate in minutes.


About the Ham

The A7 BBQ smoked ham was such a treat. It had that perfect balance of smoky and slightly sweet flavor, and the texture was so tender and juicy. You can tell it was made with care! Ham and Cheese Quesadilla

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tortilla wrap
  • grated cheese, I used Eden Melt Sarap, Cheddar Cheese, and Monterey Jack
  • ham

Dipping Sauce

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Make the dipping sauce: combine the sour cream and garlic. Mix well.
  2. Place tortilla in a heated pan.
  3. Add grated cheese and ham and fold. Toast and flip, Heat through until crisp and cheese is melted.
  4. Slice and serve.
